Je suis architecte, et j'exerce depuis plus de trente-cinq ans.
Une longue partie de ma vie professionnelle s'est construite à l'étranger
au Moyen-Orient principalement durant 20 ans, où j'ai appris à travailler vite, juste, et dans des contextes qui ne laissent pas de place à l'approximation. Puis je suis rentrée. Pas par hasard, par conviction.

Les Alpes, le bois, la lumière rasante en hiver, le silence qui oblige à aller à l'essentiel : c'est ici que je travaille le mieux.

Établie à Château-d'Œx depuis plusieurs années, je reçois mes clients dans mon atelier, au cœur du Pays-d'Enhaut. Je prends un projet à la fois. C'est une contrainte assumée, elle garantit une attention que je ne saurais pas diviser.
Au fil des années, j'ai aussi constitué quelque chose qui ne s'improvise pas : un réseau d'entreprises et d'artisans , des gens soigneux, compétents, respectueux . Savoir à qui confier un chantier, c'est un atout qui n'a pas de prix.
Mon approche vient de l'écoute, de l'observation, et d'une certaine idée de la justesse : un espace réussi, c'est un espace où l'on se sent exactement à sa place sans trop savoir pourquoi.
C'est ce "pourquoi" que je cherche, à chaque fois.
I am an architect, and I have been practising for over thirty-five years.
A long stretch of my professional life was built abroad in the Middle East primarily, for nearly twenty years where I learned to work fast, accurately, and in contexts that leave no room for approximation.
Then I came back. Not by chance. By conviction.
The Alps, the timber, the low winter light, the silence that forces you back to what matters this is where I do my best work.
Based in Château-d'Œx for several years now, I meet my clients at my studio, in the heart of the Pays-d'Enhaut. I take one project at a time. It is a deliberate constraint , it ensures an attention I could not afford to divide.
Over the years, I have also built something that cannot be improvised : a network of contractors and craftspeople thorough, skilled, and respectful of work done properly. Knowing who to trust with a site is knowledge that takes years to earn. It is an precious asset .
My approach comes from listening, from observation, and from a particular idea of what is right : a successful space is one where you feel exactly where you belong without quite knowing why.
That why is what I look for, every time.
